is taking a week off recommended

I'm getting ready to start my first Aas cycle in a few weeks & my back is bothering me a little. I am definetly going to chiropractor & was thinking about taking a week off to get fully recovered before starting. Is this needed? I never take that much time off. But i do rest plenty. At least twice a week.

I actually schedule an off week every 8 weeks, allows me to rest and heal up those little nicks we all get from training and gets me ready to go hard again. I will do a bit of light cardio at home, but I avoid the gym except to use the pool if the weather is nice.
