been looking around the net and this forum and i think i have come up with a good routine
Monday_ 5 x 10 wednesday_ 3 x 6 Friday_4 x 8
Workout A
Deadlift
Bench press
Shoulder press
Workout B
Squats
Pullups
Bentover rows
Accessory_when its a BAB workout
on the friday i will do my accesory for B, 5 sets of bicep work, and then the follwing wednesday B workout i will do 5 sets of bicep work
And during an ABA workout i will do 5 sets of tricep work on a friday and 5 sets of an A workout on a wednesday.
I no most people would say that thers no need for direct arm work but my arms do not grow without direct arm work
also i plan to take most sets to failure but using recoverbility sessions, such as ice shower and steam room switches and reversibilty sessions i should avoid any overtraining syndrome
I don't get the change in volume from day to day... i would stick with one volume for a few weeks then change it at that point and maybe tweak the exercises. Also if theres only two different routines why not just go upper lower, so atleast have more emphasis on one half of your body each week... For that basic of a program i think bill starr's 5x5 might be a better option or some variation of that program.
what does it being a full body routine have at all to do with changing the volume from day to day.. Unless your a freak of nature that your body adapts and plateus from exercise to exercise stick with one volume for atleast a few weeks
Nevermind read something wrong... You only have 2 leg exercises, obviously you have the right 2 if thats all you are going to do for legs, if you wanna do it full body then i guess stick with it, i was just along the thinking of if you are gonna do that workout you might as well stick with Bill Starr 5x5 because its easy to control the increases and variables... Nothing is wrong with the routine if thats what you set on though i personally wouldn't follow it in that order, doesnt mean im right or your wrong though everyones different... goodluck
