    I want veins!!

Hi everyone, just joined the forum. Its great to find a place where everyone is so willing to help each other.

I have been training since I was 16 but only started lifting seriously for the last 3 years (iam 26 now). I am happy with my build '6,1' 225lbs but cannot get my veins to get to the surface.

is it my genetics, body fat or am I missing something?

    please help!!

    thanks

    ste

It is most likely a BF% issue. My veins don't really get to popping until I'm sub 12% or so....

I thought that. not knowing much about nutrition, do sugary drinka such as pepsi impact body fat? I don't drink alcohol but pepsi is my vice and probably drink too much of it!

i think genetics play a part too. i'm pretty veiny, but i'm about 16%. i'm finishing a cycle that has EQ and tren in it. my vascularity has improved alot during this cycle. maybe it's chemical instead of genetic. IDK. i would think it's like EVERYTHING else though and varies from person to person.

Genetics, BF%, sub-Q water all play part in veins bulging out.

Pros get the "pythons under the skin" when they start to carb & sodium cycle, plus drugs, low body fat and fluid dehydration in preparation before shows.

Also, you can get them after a hard ass workout when the skin is tight and blood is flowing through the muscles. Happens to me when I hop off the bike, after a hard ride.

Both genes and fat. Some people are just more veiny. However, if you're 20% BF you're probably not gonna see to many.

20 ounces of Coke a day has 250 calories, a 12 ounce can contains 10 tables spoons of sugar. Would you eat 10 tablespoons of sugar in one sitting? I highly doubt you would, but you drink it everytime you have a cola. Those are just some facts.

I've read studies that suggest a person could lose around 15lbs of fat in one year just by cutting out one can of soda a day. Ditch the soda, and you'll see more veins AND lower risk of diabetes.

Spot on my brotha! Cokes are detrimental to your physique! What is your bf currently at? The more fat you loose, the more your veins will show.

lol thanks for the help guys.

my bodyfat has not been tested for a while but was around the 22% mark so lots of room for improvement.

I have ditched the coke and all the sugary stuff now as when I was sitting in work I must have been going through a litre and then another litre at home. its always been my weak point!!

hopefully will start seeing sone improvements now.

Two liters of Coke a day is most likely the cause of your 22% bf.

Give it a few months and watch the veins pop. You might want to look into a bit of cardio if you're not already doing so.
