I just make sure I throw 15g of glutamine in my shakes about 3-4 X a day, it makes a big difference for me
Hey
Any suggestions on battling DOMS. I get the most wicked case of DOMS after lifting, usually lasting up to 3 days. I have been doing 5/3/1 for the last 5 months (boring but big version) and thought it might have been the 5 x 10 accesory. I cut the accesories out and still get DOMS.
The DOMS is always worse for the legs, being alot more managable for the upper body.
Diet wise I have been eating well above maintainence. Any suggestions?
I love lifting so much that i wanna take it behind the school building and get it pregnant!

Ever had your testosterone levels checked? This is just anecdotal, but I got DOMS pretty bad the week between my SARMS S4 and PCT. I wasn't going to do a PCT but after I got DOMS I started the PCT my DOMS went away. Could be a coincidence.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Yeah plenty of sleep. Getting plenty of food into me.

DOMS is what you earn for work well done. I wished I still got DOMS in certain bodyparts. Enjoy them. In general, DOMS tend to diminish over time, depending on the bodypart. Love your DOMS.

This right here. You'll miss the DOMS when it's gone.
That aside, if it's really bothering you, taking an anti-inflammatory should take the edge off. Aspirin should help too (both as a pain killer and a blood thinner). And stay away from vasoconstrictors, such as caffeine.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.

Enjoy the DOMS while you still have them!!!! Embrace them!!! Love them!!!! What I wouldn't give....
I love it too!!! tells me ive done my job right![]()
I read a while back about a study that was done with ginger. I think it was something about anti-inflammatory.. Anyway, they had concluded that if you had eaten so much the previous day, you had little to no pain/ache. Interesting part about it was, you would have to continue having some each day after, for some reason it only stayed in your system for a day.
I haven't tested this myself, but I have been curious about it. I am similar to others who replied, where I actually enjoy the feeling on occasion, lets me know I went all out.
Let me see if I can dig up the study.
