    swing shift

    I work a 12 swing shift 2 on 2 off sort of thing and was wondering if its ok to train chest,back,abs one day then do shoulders,arms,legs the next then have 2 days rest, then repeat again after 2 days rest? Any opinons or suggestions appreciated.

    Chest and back the same day, followed by arms the next day? That is way too much overtraining. You have to remember that you will use secondary muscles with exercises like back and chest. Not to mention leg day should be so exhausting that you wouldn't be able to squeeze any other muscle groups in with them.

    I would do:
    chest & tri's (maybe throw in shoulders)
    Back & Bi's
    Legs

    This might work best with your schedule.
