    Random benching vid: 405 X 12 reps

Was checking out a friend's YouTube channel and then bounced from video to video. Saw one titled something like "benching 225 for 60 reps". Impressive enough but the guy never locked out once and was bouncing the bar off his cage like a basketball.

This, otoh, is some damn impressive benching. Clear lock out and strong reps with little if any bounce off the guy's chest.

If only he didn't have to blow his nose on the floor and wipe it on his shirt.

He is such a basass that he doesn't even give a fuck. "Yeah, I'm being recorded, and I'll still blow me nose on my shirt and the floor, then wipe the snot on my shirt. You know why, because I'm about to benchpress 405lb 12 times raw with good form, that's why!"

    Honestly just not that impressive.
Yes it's cool that 1075 lbs doesn't completely crush him and send his elbows flying across the room...But look at the form, all the crap he wears, etc.

If everyone benched like that always, It just wouldn't be fun.
    Just crap.

i actually agree with you. in general i am aginst all the crap that a lot of power lifting meets allow you to wear!! but that being said a 1000# plus bench press is kinda fun to watch. i always liked watching people like ed coan lift...in my humble opinion the greatest powerlifter ever

    Very nice!

Lots of weight, all very controlled. These guys followed their P's and Q's in the gym.

Im digging the first guy much more than the second. He has a flat back like he was just some average joe in the gym. Second guy has a very large arches power lifting style back. Don't think anything is wrong with either, i prefer the first.

Thats fkin awesome. I think after I hit like 35 - 40 I may convert to power lifting. But as for now. I definitely prefer endurance/moderate strength to that shit
