    deloading

    I know that this is already everywhere but I've read such conflicting info WHAT really is the scoop?
    Ive heard everything from every fourth week to once every three months to when I feel like it to deloads are for pussies LOL
    AHHHHHHHH
    do you schedule or go with flow ..... I know to listen to my body and take breaks or ease of if I feel like Im over reaching or cranky but my question is do you deload even if you feel good to PREVENT or when your body goes HELLO time off please............

    It depends on how intense are your workouts.The more intense the more often you will need a deload.

    Usually every 5-6 weeks I need one.I just feel crushed after 5-6 weeks of training

    I think its important to set a time to take a week off, be it the 4th week or the 8th week, otherwise you'll never take them. When the time comes, take it no matter how your body feels. Although, this is not to say you shouldn't take it earlier if your body says you should.
