    funny how this works...

We all have those days when we simply DO NOT want to work out, especially if you work out first thing in the morning. Why is it that on those days that you have to force yourself into the gym, you end up having some of your best workouts? I had one of those workouts this morning. I almost turned off the alarm and stayed in bed, but my conscience got the better of me and off to the gym I went. It was one of the best chest/tricep workouts I've had in a long time. Feeling good this morning.

LOL, its funny you posted this, the same thing happened to me yesterday morning.
I thought I had to work at the gym, when I got there, the girl I normally work for was there, she tells me I was suppose to work NEXT monday.

Anyway, I already had my shoes on so I figure I may as well do my workout until I look at my training log and realize my first exercise was DEADLIFTS 3 x 4-6.

So anyway, I almost turned around left but then I thought to myself, hey I can sleep in Tuesday if I get this done today.
And BAM wouldn't you know it was the best back workout I've had in some time.
    Cool

I was thinking about the rest of the week. Skipping today would have meant I could only do three workouts this week instead of four. Plus, if I get to the gym today and tomorrow, I could stay out late tomorrow night and go to the movies, then sleep in Thursday morning.

Hey Dero, this holds true for MTB as well. Haven't you ever NOT wanted to ride for whatever reason, but you go anyway. Then afterwards, you feel awesome about it? Happens to me after those post-work daily evening rides.
