    Compound lift workout critique

Just looking for some feedback on my routine.

Been lifting for 17 years off and on and i found i respond better to heavy compound lifts more than any other regmen i have tried but i hit a bit of a plateau even with gear.

    Mondays, thursdays

4x6-8 bench press or incline dumbbell press
4x6-8 seated rows or barbell rows
    4x6-8 deadlifts

    Tuesdays, fridays
    4x6-8 dumbbell shoulder press
4x6-8 pullups or front widegrip pulldowns
    4x6-8 squats

    Any suggestions?

I throw in core 2-3 days per week as well.

Look into Wendler 5/3/1. Its got a Squat day, Dead day, Bench day, and Shoulder Press day. It is great, helped me break thru my 2 big plateaus...T NATION | How to Build Pure Strength

Im leaning towards lowering the weight and increasing reps....keeping sets at 4. Maybe going to MWF and alternating the two workouts.

    Thanks for the input!
