I think it's fine as long as you don't run crazy long distances and are eating enough.

I was wondering if running the day after working out your legs hinders the recovery process and is bad for leg growth? If my legs are really sore the day or two after a leg workout is it ok for me to run if I am trying to build mass in my legs, or should I wait a day or so to let them recover before running or jumping rope?

you must be young,.... "run", i can barely do stairs after squat day lol

My gym is on the second floor. I've had days where I was scared to go back down the stairs after leg day. And worse, is crawling back up the following day!
To the OP - I've always found that the soreness and tightness that follows leg day is eased some if you get on the stick and do something to keep them active the following day. Like noted above - if you're making "running" an aspect of your training (e.g. you're a distance runner), then you need to look at your fueling (diet) and where you are expending energy for your goals (hard to lift heavy & be a distance runner - one requires muscle, the other catabolizes muscle). If you just like to run for cardio, then you should be fine.
