I'm surprised that there are so many genetic issues holding people back. I would have thought it would be more people being hard on themselves for whatever makes them break their discipline.

Luckily I don't have genetic problems (or I just haven't worked long enough to discover any), but my main problems are beer and ice cream. Not combined, but damn they make for diet killers. Brewing my own beer isn't a help either.

This is my 100% honest answer guys. I am not proud of it in any way but when I seen this thread I felt as if I must leave my 2 cents on it.

For me mine is mental which = alcohol.

Feeling sorry for myself is what lead to this. When I drink I convince myself that next week will be better than last week. I wont get into detail but all my mental shit starts and end with what I thought was a bodybuilding career which never really happened and by drinking I think everything will work out in my favor in the near future.I know that I am just teasing myself. I really do. Bit that is what works for me at this point in my life. Going from feeling important in the industry to all of a sudden feeling as if I was disregarded overnite. Its just more than I can deal with personally.

    Learn from my mistakes guys.
I didnt want to write this but I did.

    Thumbs up

My obstacle are food and motivation. I am having a hard time been strict with my food intake. I am latin and we know latin people love to eat. I have no motivation some days and is hard to get up to go to gym. My motivation for days like that is a smoothie from my favorite smoothie place next to the gym.

Take it one day at a time
