as of right now everything is going smooth. trying to get to 170lbs. Starting weight right before the new year, when i started everything, was just about 150 and my heaviest weight this week was 167. gaining about 2 months a month and a half or so. diet could be better but money is holding that back just a little.

I shattered my wrist about 3 months ago. Trying to figure out innovative ways to get back to where I was. Only have about a 1/4 of wrist movement.

I would say Meal Plan. I have no appetite at all, but if I did not consume all the calories that I do I would shrink!

The ligaments, or lack thereof in my right knee and ending a few weeks ago, being so depressed about my work and financial situation I drank too much to get off the couch let alone go to a gym. Now that I've taken care of the latter, the former is just a hiccup that I can and always have worked around.

I tend to do things all or nothing. I'm lost on how to eat if I'm not on some sort of diet, but when I'm scheduled to be 'off-season' - trying to get back on a scheduled diet is hard. Training-wise, in the past it has never been a problem - every time I walk into the gym, I want to see how much I can lift. These days, due to my boatload of tendonitis and other general wear&tear issues, I just can't do that anymore. So I'm not particularly excited to go into the gym at the moment. Needing to learn how to lift "differently" and change my motivations - for the last 30 yrs I"ve gone into the gym to "get into the zone" and test the envelope... now its like .. um ... low wt / high rep? Eh.... I'm scheduled to "drink the kool-aid" and get some kettlebell training for "core" and "functional strength" (as opposed to "lifting fucking heavy stuff").

Getting started is the hard part - once I'm in the zone, I"m generally good for the duration. At the moment I"m inside of 19 weeks out from my target show, where my goal is to dump 30-40 lb, including 10 lb of muscle so I can compete in a smaller category than BB.

Used to be pot. Now it's probably my addiction to distance running! It's weakened and shrunk my legs.
