    Help build a leg workout

I currently workout in my garage. I have a squat rack, dumbbells and a kickout attachment to my bench. Any good leg workouts I can do with what I got? Other than squats, I got that part down.

How does someone recommend deads for a leg workout. I fkn hate that. Deads are for he back. PRimarily that is. So If you do muscle group splits then do deads on back days. Not leg days. Just sayin

Altho SLDLs allows you to isolate the mutherfuck out of your hamstrings. Standard DLs I'd save for back day.

Why not just do calf raises on the squat rack with something under your toes? Go to walmart and buy one of those aerobics deals.

Even better would be to go to home depot. Buy a long plank (something like 8 inches wide by 1 inch think) and have them slice it up. Then glue them on top of one another to your preferred height.

I sometimes use the aerobic steps at the gym and they flex too much for me. I much prefer the wooden step but it seems to keep disappearing.

I disagree with this to a degree. Although I don't use a bodypart split, I do think that deadlifts work the legs to a signifigant degree. Deadlifts are far from a back-only exercise. The best deadlifters in the world always have strong legs for a reason. I've always liked to separate deadlift and squat days for many reasons, but the value of deadlifts to overall leg strength is often underestimated, IMHO.

    +1

Deadlifts done with proper form and ROM fully engage the glutes, hamstrings and even quads to a degree.
