Do light full body routine for one week so that your muscles adapt working out again and won't get sore as hell. Also, clean up your diet from day one. Just my two cents.

yes Day 1 is today, and iv'e cleaned my diet up, so you say go light full body first week and then back into the routine i was doing before, when muscles have adapted to working out again?

Well how were your hiit workouts going before the break? If you liked them and you were making progressive steps then why change it? Unless you are just bored of the routine I'd stick with what works.

Id say just pick it up again. Expect to be a little slower on the upswing off the bat, so pace yourself and you should be up to speed by next week.
