    Pulled glute???

So I went bowling with some friends last night, stepped up, after I threw the first ball of the night I felt like I tore my left upper glute in half! Fml, last time I went bowling I had some pain afterwards, nothing crazy though. Did hiit (sprints) last week and felt extremely sore in both hips and glutes, but nothing like this...

So the question is, wtf can I do here?? I have a pt session scheduled for tomorrow and have it planned for legs.

Has anyone heard of this happening before???

Kind of. The best thing I can advise you on would be two particular stretchs a physical therapist showed me. So bear with me as I try to describe them...first one= lay on your back, put both legs straight up in the air, cross one leg in front of the other just above your knee(by your "tear drop"), then put your arms behind the opposite knee and pull toward you. You should look like your are making the number 4 with your legs. This will get a good stretch in the glute area. Ok second one...lay flat on your back and try to bring your knees to your chest, once you do this lay your legs to either side with your legs still bent, then hold/pull with opposite arm to help with the stretch. Wish i could post pics LOL. Hope you understand these and hope you get better.

Thanks all.. at this point even putting socks on in the am is a bit of an issue. I talked to a trainer I know and they suggested light streching... in about 4 more days lol. I can't believe this shit
