    my split

Ok guys heres my current split. Maybe you can critique it for me. Im looking to develop a little bit more shape all round with a little bit extra size. im currently using a pyramid formula to train , bumping up the weight each time and it does seem to be working. I just wonder if its better to train shouldes on a different day to chest.

    DAY 1
    -------------

    chest / triceps / shoulders

    DAY 2
    ---------------

    Legs / forarms / abs

    DAY 3
    -----------------

    back / biceps

    All criticism greatly appreciated

Your split looks okay and if it's working for you then great. The way I would maybe tweak it to see if it's better is like this:

    DAY 1: chest / biceps / shoulders
    DAY 2: legs / forearms / abs
    DAY 3: back / triceps

So basically you can try training biceps on your chest day and triceps on your back day. This way you are stimulating your biceps and triceps, in different ways, twice a week which may attribute to better growth. Also, you can crank out more for biceps and triceps this way because they should feel fresh every workout rather than being punished by doing chest and back first.
To speak before you think is like wiping your ass before you shit!

ideally I train on mon / wed and fri, although my job sometimes forces me to train 2 days back to back from time to time or even drop a day (usualy leg day). I try to get the cardio in twicwe a week if possible although i dont hold much body fat geneticly so it not a priority
