helping train a 16 year old kid

I am helping train a 16 year old kid. He has been upper body two times a week heavy and skipping legs. The kid has great genetics. I know his natural test levels are high due to his age. I was taught training every thing twice a week heavy is over training when you're natural. Does this hold true for a 16 year old as well?

Depends entirely on what his program is, the volume, intensity, etc. Also what else he does in his life, does he live a physically demanding life, does he sit on the couch between workouts...

    and diet of course.

When I first started I trained every day for almost 8 months and gained close to 50 pounds.I didn't work and pretty much sat and ate between workouts. I then stopped for almost a year and when I started again there was no way I could do that. No I train 6 times every 10 days and with my school and chasing my son around, that is about as much as I can take.

Can you guys help me explain to this kid he is too young for gear. I have told him he needs to wait til his body matures. I will show him your responses. He has good genes.

He doesnt have a job, we train pretty intense and I am swapping up our routine this week, ajuggernaut posted a routine on another section for me. He is eating 3000 calories a day. I am trying to teach him the basic nutrition for now. Protein, good carbs and good form. I dont want him injuring hisself.

Tell him if he uses gear now it's likely that he'll develop low testosterone for life, decreased sperm production from decreased LH, and Erectile Dysfunction .. (may be able to recover fine, but there is definitely a possibility of the above) .. oh and he may get gyno (knew a 16 year old who was lactating from 1AD/4AD back in high school - and they only convert to what he would be injecting if he juiced)

How about showing some pride and becoming strong own his own before he super-sizes

Amen!!!!! Thank you, pride and dedication. I have told him gear is not the magic pill, it still takes proper eating and training. The mesia portrays gear evil and the magic get huge potion.
