Cutting - Weight Training and Cardio?

    Hello Everyone,

I want to start a cutting routine, but am unsure of the best way to proceed. I'm new to the board and have learn a lot. I was over working and probably burning muscle ! Here is my first idea for a cutting routine.

Monday - Shoulders, Chest, Triceps, Abs + Cardio 30 Min.
    Tuesday - Abs + Cardio 30 Min.
Wednesday - Back, Lats, Biceps, Abs + Cardio 30 Min.
    Thursday - Abs - Cardio 30 Min.
Friday - Legs, Abs + Cardio 30 Min
    Saturday and Sunday - Off

I'm not at all sure if this is the best. I want to cut the fat first and then build muscle, but I'd don't want to lose muscle while burning the fat.

Advice would be very helpful. Recommendations Please.

    Thanks

    Another Question:

How many different exersises should I do for each muscle group?

Also reps and sets. Right now I'm doing 3 sets each with 8 reps of heavy weights, adding more weight after each set.

when cutting you can do a normal workout schedule but u shouldnt cardio on the same day you workout

    For Example

    Monday - Shoulders, Chest, Triceps,
    Tuesday - Abs + Cardio 45-60 Min.
Wednesday - Back, Lats, Biceps, forearms
    Thursday - Abs - Cardio 45-60 Min.
    Friday - Legs, Abs
    Saturday- Cardio or off
    Sunday - Off

the reason being your workout will already be around 45-60+ minz and if you add cardio at the end its too much

Thank You! That just makes it even easier. I have to laugh because I've been over working and take much more time than I needed. The good news is that I have learned to go everyday and got myself used to it. These changes just make being healthy and fit even eaiser.

I've been using the elliptical machine for my cardio - about 30 to 45 min, but on cario days I'll go 45 to 60
