    Leg workouts

    Hi there,i've been joined with a gym 4 a year but am moving away next week,not alot in area moving to,will have to travel a bit 4 a good gym,my ? ,i have a bar with weights at home,is there more i can do besides squats 4 my legs

    lunges, straight leg dead lifts for your hamstrings, front squats, barbell hack squats, Light weight deep squats

    Try this...

    TRI SET 1:

    -SQUATS...1 X 20
    -WALKING LUNGE...1 X 15 EACH LEG
    -STIFF DEADLIFT...1 X 15

    TRI SET 2:

    -FRONT SQUATS...1 X 20
    -STEP UPS ON BENCH OR BOX...1 X 15 EACH LEG
    -STIFF DEADLIFT...1 X 15

    TRI SET 3:

    -JUMP SQUAT (NO WEIGHT)...1 X 20
    -SIDE LUNGE...1 X 15 EACH LEG
    -STIFF DEADLIFT...1 X 15

    Take 3 minutes between trisets. You and your legs will be trashed!

    gopro's suggestions are probably the best you can do with what you have. But, IMO, if you can and will travel, do it. I guess it just depends on your goals and how dedicated you are to those goals.

    I never give up an opportunity to travel. Most of the time, my body can use the break anyway. If she uses my program she will not only maintain, she will improve!

    Thanks guys, i will travel once am settled and know whats happening with work,there supposed to be a uni about 20 mins away with a gym that is available to anyone so have to find out. Gopro, did your sets last night and really felt it,was unsure on the jump squat ,i have an elliptical so will keep up my cardio and thank you

    DO YOU ALL SEE THIS POST???? NO OFFENSE TO ANY OTHER MEMBERS HERE BUT THIS IS WHY I CONSIDER GOPRO THE BEST ON HERE WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING TRAINING ADVICE. DAMN THIS GUY IS EFFICIENT AND THOROUGH

    Anyone ever try doing reverse lunges down a steep hill. Say about 50 yards long. I LOVE doing this, works great to using DBells.
