How old are you?

Just wanting to know what you think. I'll try to find a full body pic from June and take one from now, but I think my results have been pretty good... I actually have a chest now (the right pic is sort of fuzzy)
Bench - 150lbs
Squat - 100 lbs (only started them in the last month)
Deadlift - 100 lbs
Barbell curls - 70 lbs
DB Curls - 30 - 35 lbs
Leg press - 210 lbs
Calf raise - 340 lbs
Standing shoulder press - 160 lbs
Trap shrugs - 220 lbs
More... too tired to think
How old are you?

I take in 3000+ cals a day, ~150g of protein, 300g+ of carbs, and I weight lift one day off, one day on. Been doing that for four months, all heavy and high intensity. I think I made some pretty good progress for only weight lifting for four months, never having an ounce of real physical activity in my life.

How tall are you, and what do you weigh? That recent pic is really blurry compared to the old one...
I can see a difference regardless.

Don't even worry about cutting right now. Just eat big and train hard.

Descent progress, your posing might need a little work..just a little
i can see some progress

X2..... That's the basics for starting out.
Only a couple of things I have to add is you should spend as much time reading here or some well respected book ( there is lots of garbage out there) as you do in the gym. You can't ever read to much, we all started our just like you at one time. Ask a ton of questions.

Fuck dude I'm only 2 years older than you.
You need to focus on eating right and lifting as hard as you can. I'm sure you think you're doing that right now, but you are not.
Keep up the work. It doesn't come easy. Maybe you should add in some cardio?

I have no idea as to how you would expect me to work harder than what I do. I take in 3000+ calories a day, ~150g protein, ~300g of carbs. In terms of food, I take in chicken, eggs, almonds, oats, grains, etc.
I am eating right... Haha. I don't know how you'd expect me to carry out my diet differently than what I am...

You need to eat steak 4x a day, buckets of rice and dont shit for a week to store all the extra weight. I made my best gains this way....on a serious note, just give it time you've only been lifting for a short period of time. Keep taking progress pics every month or two and monitor your progress.

Barbell curls - 70 lbs
DB Curls - 30 - 35 lbs
Standing shoulder press - 160 lbs
Trap shrugs - 220 lbs
Those are some great numbers for just starting out!! Are you doing 3-4 sets at these weights? I'm curious to know how much you started with.

Your numbers are a bit off. Why are you barbell curlin 70lbs. and only deadlifting 100lbs? I do barbell curl for reps with 80lbs. I usually do deadlift reps at 185 & 215.

Sounds like you put too much emphasis on useless shit like shrugs when you should concentrate more on compounds. Every time I see a small dude attempt to shrug when he can't dead at least 225 lbs, I just laugh.

What I meant was you need to push yourself in the gym. Just looking at your numbers I can see that you're not pushing yourself. The first cycle i did, I realized I made all of these crazy strength gains because I could have actually lifted that weight before I got on. I just didn't have the drive to do it.
150g of protein isn't that much. I get 150g by 11am.
Maybe try to find someone who is bigger than you to train with so they will push you. If you want to grow, you need to lift heavy.

ok - please elaborate on this one a bit:
Standing shoulder press - 160 lbs
What exactly are you doing? Dumbells - barbell - machine - cables? If you're putting up that much with 80 lb dumbbells, STANDING, i'd say strength wise you're doin great!
You should post your diet, more specifically. Also your training routine, ie chest i do db flys, then db bench etc etc. Their are many guys on here that have extensive knowledge in these area's and are glad to help those who are willing to listen. If you take good advice and work hard you will continue to grow. Enjoy and keep at it man! P.S EAT MORE!

I usually do 2 - 4 sets of each exercise, smith.

My diet mainly consists of yogurt, cottage cheese, almonds, chicken, my mass gainer shake, fruits, vegetables, rice, grains, wheat, peanut butter, etc.
As for deadlifts, I only started incorporating those within the past month to a month and a half. I am at 135 lbs right now.

How tall are you? you seem below 5'1
How do you do standing military press on the smith machine? You must be short.
