Im no expert mate but i would say just keep eating the same as you are now to maintain the muscle you have.. what i have found is like yourself after training for x amount of time its always good to take a week off just to give your body a rest eat good sleep good and just live your life a lil have fun.. what i found is that i wasnt as hungry during these "rest weeks" due to not going gym and buring as much calories...

I've done that a couple times. I've noticed I'm not as hungry because I'm not using as much energy so I just eat a little less.

listen to your body, i like taking a week off every few months. It lets all the accumulated soreness diminish.

I'd eat the same..throw in a few cardio sessions(which is perfectly fine during a rest week) to keep your metabolism up. Hopefully your bulking isn't a dirty bulk and you are bulking with healthy foods.

On the rare occasion that I take time off, I just make sure to get sufficient protein and other than that, eat ad libitum.

There is no reason why you should change your eating habits if they worked for you. Also you should consider taking a week off more frequently, like every 7-8 weeks or so.

Can't tell if you're being serious or not... If you are, that is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Taking breaks actually make you stronger which is why most powerlifters take a week off before meets.

At worst just reduce your carb intake a little (e.g. if you eat any specific Pre/Post WO meals) since you won't be needing it to fuel lifting sessions.

I just took a week off and did the above. I returned to the gym today and felt awesome.

It is definitely needed every so often...

A rest week will do you some good, especially if you're bulking. Keep your food consumption the same and stick to the supplements you're using (with the exception of pre-workout supplements if you take those obviously). I take a week of for every 12 weeks of training and I wouldn't do it any other way so you'll be fine, probably stronger when you resume training unless you go on a drinking bender of sorts.

Unwritten rules of rest week (for me personally)
1.Thou shall eat every fukn meal and not say I didn't train it's doesn't matter
    2. shall not slack off on diet
    3. Just because I'm resting my muscles doesn't mean I can eat junk (FAIL for me)
    4. Stop being fkn lazy cause I'm resting

(just a post to remind me next time)
