    Cardio with weights

    If I train cardio really hard for about 10 1/2 mins every other day will this seriously affect my gains?? I have to run a mile and a half for a physical evaluation every 6 months, I do it pretty quickly (now I'm at 10 1/2 mins) I'm trying to get the time down to 8 1/2 or 8. I'm trying to bulk and stay pretty cut, so I'm doing it clean.

    Trying to bulk and stay cut is pretty contradictory but its possible. Keep in mind your gains won't be as big. But yeah, if you want to stay cut and bulk at the same time, the cardio is necessary.

    Eat a lot of clean food and work hard at both. I do it. Have my gains suffered? maybe but I still gain. Has my run time suffered? sure, but I still do it fast enough and when I put in more effort I get faster.
    They do have an effect on each other no doubt, but you can improve on both.
