Question How many sets of squats

I am going to work out with the girl i met on NYE and she wants to do legs with me but she has not done legs in six months. I don't want to hurt her so i was wondering how many sets and reps should we do. I always go overboard on my legs because i like to feel the burn and the pain. Any help you can give I will take.

Thank you

Caution!!!

The only thing I can say is that if she has not worked her legs out in 6 months, take it easy on her and yourself at first... And later through conditioning of your legs then you can probably go ballistic or increase the intensity...

You would not want to scare her away now!!!

I would say anywhere from 5 to 6 sets and anywhere from 6-8 reps....

But thats just me!!!!

I hope that was helpful.

I'd keep her to 1 warmup, 3 working sets and NOWHERE near failure.

Yup.

I made the mistake of going all out after taking a break from legs for the summer (biking season). I was sore for a week, and it sucked.
