Get on a cutting diet and do a weight training and cardio routine. It doesn't really matter when it comes to training and cutting, as long as you are training hard.

Diet is the key. Progressive resistance training will preserve mean body mass. I'd stay away from steady state cardio and do a HIIT routine if you feel you need cardio.

Diet is where you start. Abs are made in the kitchen, and overall bodyfat loss will occur proportionally across your body, appearing to take longer in the areas where you tend to hold a higher concentration of fat cells.

You can't "spot reduce" so don't fixate on upper body stuff. Be sure you're doing a full coverage of muscle groups and some functionally correct activities (e.g. squat, push, pull). Calories in vs calories out. Consistency is the secret. In both diet & training. Reduce your random cheats to one / week and stick to sufficient calories and clean food during the week.

High Intensity Interval Training. Just a variation of interval training. Oh yeah, no amount of "spot reduction" excersize will work. The sooner you accept this, the better off you'll be.

Fat loss is all about diet management, low carb high protein and high good fats is a start. After that look into carb cycling if you hit a wall. Train heavy to maintain muscle mass. Do sprint/HIIT/Tabata cardio.

+1 on that. Carb cycling and a strict(not pigging out on the weekends)diet are the key. Add that cardio. You'll get it.

I do my cardio while watching a moving on my overly large smartphone. It certainly makes it easier since I HATE cardio. I guess it was the forced 6 mile runs everyday the Army made me do.
