    Chest workout?

I am working on my chest and triceps & need a 5 to 10 minute workout every other day. I play soccer so I don't need to totally jack up. will 3 sets of wide push ups and 3 sets of close pushups be enough to get strong chest and triceps?

i think 6 sets of chest doing push ups an wide push ups is gonna take more than 10 mins
an push ups targets middle chest an wide push ups targets outter chest
    why dont you do

    push ups
diamond push ups (inner chest an triceps)
    wide push ups
    decline push ups (upper chest)
    dips(lower chest)

should take you 45-60 mins 3 sets each an add some weight for dips or push ups to increase in strength an make it more challenging
doing high reps and only pushups can lead to a strength imbalance
I would recommend adding barbells or dumbbells as well so there is no imbalance but up to you if you dont have the time or equipment

Would be a lot easier if you go to the gym and use weights...

try to gym. do 10,8,8,6,4 of flat bench dumbbell, incline dumbbell, dumbbell flyes (10, 10), cable flyes,& v dips, & weighted dips. finish no matter the weight & do it twice a week. I am of the firm belief that most people underwork the chest.

All you can squeeze in is 5-10 minutes every other day? That is an unrealistic schedule. Find some more time

Do clapping pushups, not regular ones. If you can't clap at the top of a pushup, push as explosively as you can until you *can* do clapping pushups.

Alright, for what it sounds like you are looking for you don't need a gym. Back in my old days we used to use a basketball court.
Walk from Side A to Side B- Do 30pushups, walk back to side A do 20 pushups. Keep a descent pace do this until your dead. Switch grips randomly--some grips (hand positions) you will be stronger at than others.
Bust your ass and push yourself. Won't take more than 15 mins to be dead.

You play soccer, don't worry you will never be "jacked up" with all that cardio..LOL you good to go. Do pushups, and maybe one arm extension pushups also. I would also do some chest flys and chest presses(switch between dumbells and machine) Below is a vid of the type of push up variations I am talking about check it out.

Do the above to start then move to a full pushup one arm.
