Is it bad to do the weight training equipment everyday?

I heard you should only do it 2-3 times a week to give the muscles a rest but would it hurt if i did it everyday. I'm only trying to get leaner and lose a lil bit of weight. If I use it everyday will i get results faster?

    No.

2-3 times a week is fine. You need time to recover from your workouts, more-so on a cut because you won't be eating as much food.

2-3 times a week is perfect, especially for a beginner. I'd recommend 3 days a week, with a day of rest between days. Make sure you're on a good program (check around for recommendations - I'd recommend "starting strength" for a few months, followed by a month or two of dieting to drop any fat gained along with the muscle)

If you do do it everyday, it has to be a different muscle group everyday...

IMO If you workout everyday, which I do, you need to have a good diet to feed your muscles and sleep well every night to allow them to recover.

Obsession is almost never a good thing.

Being in a hurry is a sure way to delay what could have been done right the first time.

There are routines you can do 6 days a week, even 7.
I wouldn't recommend it. But if you eat right, moderate your workouts, and sleep good it is possible. depends on your type of training.
I would recommend weight training 3-4 times a week. and doing some other form of exercise for the rest
