    Lightbulb butt training

My girlfriend told me I have a wide butt like a TV. What should I do? Is there any excercise to narrow my butt? I want to have the greatest and smallest and most beautifull butt on the world. Please tell me what to do, I'll do anything!

Valid point Prince.....we to to know if the butt is fat or maybe you just have a wide hip girdle in which case you cannot change your bone structure.

As for your girlfriend making comments like that...even if they're in a humorous tone...people takes those things seriously even if we think we don't care. Down the road they usually effect us in some way or another. I want you to ask yourself if you would treat her, her friends, or your friends or family that way...I hope not. Tell her to have some respect or hit the road bud. Find someone that can appreciate you for who you are as a person.

That will only go with reduced bodyfat and remember you cannot spot reduce. So, if you begin to cut you may lose fat from the outer thighs right away or you might not lose it from there until you get much leaner. It all depends on you genetic predisposition to where you store fat the most.

Good luck...assuming you feel that you want to lose it for you...not for her.

Do lots of squats and lunges - a lot of it has to do with genetics but at least these exercises will tighten your rearend

    Love the pic MMM5

Although, I agree that squats and lunges are great for building muscle, in your case I think they may make things worse by building up the muscle in that area (of course this doesn't happen over night) but if you don't get rid of the fat covering the muscle, its just gonna get worse.

Proper diet to reduce your body fat sounds like what you need to start with.

you're in the minority as far as where you carry your bodyfat, most males carry it in the abdomen, and most females carry it in their butt & thighs.

No, she said that as a joke, like "Wow! Your butt is like a TV!!!", she didn't mean to hurt me. Then I looked in the mirror and I saw (TV, joking...), no, my butt is really..., big.

Re:Pic- Part of your problem is that you have foliage growing in your pubic region. As for your girlfriend, just tell her she has a loose cootercat and see what she has to say to that.

Man this post is so funny, but I understand, I am in the same boat as you. I have always had a bigger trunk. You also most likely have naturally bigger glute muscles. I have that situation and I have never been able to wear straight legged pants even when I have had low enough bodyfat to see my six.

Here's a ray of hope for you. If you do ever lose that fat you will look better in jeans to most women as they like a round butt on men. When I have gotten down to 6-8% bodyfat my wife is always grabbing me buttocks. Train and diet hard and you will reap the benefits, hope that helped.

    Good luck.

I agree P-Funk...although things are often saif in a joking manner....thruth almost always drives the jokes.

PB...sooo true. I've always considered myself to have a "big" butt.....yet whenever I complain about it females always so they love the "muscle butt" look. I think it's in our heads cause we see so many guys walking around with virtually no butts. As for me.....it has always been hard to find pants that fit my rear...guess that's why I wish I didn't live up here in Canada and could wear shorts all the time.

Nope. Sorry to disappoint you, bro, but the big butt phenomenon occurs in the Deep South as well. I have always been 'stockey', (I refer to the wide hip girdle, not excess fat) and usually wear "loose fit" jeans like most guys wear "regular" fit...even during my leanest days. Some anatomical features are, without surgery, not possible to change.
(Although you could probably have that leaf thing pruned or something.)

As far as the humor issue is concerned, humor is an excellent tool for indirectly (hence 'safely') communicating a belief or opinion to another person, who in reality might or might not be able to accept a direct statement anyway. Humor is safe, that's all.
As for me, it is kinda like terrets syndrome....it just comes flying out before I know it.....or was that my sex life? See! there it goes again!! Damn.

One more thing, cardio means running, right? Is there something more I should know about running (or cardio), or I should just get out and run around?

Cardio does not mean running - it means any activity where you can maintain an elevated heart rate for an extended period of time...running, biking, skipping, climbing stairs, even jumping jacks, etc.......be creative.

    Besides weight training,
and a cutting meal plan ( Male Cutting Plan...Meals ),
all I would recommend is a 20 minute brisk walk 20 minutes after 1 or 2 of your meals. The idea behind this is not to burn fat, but to kick up your metabolism which in turn will help you to melt fat, and due to the fact that it is of low intensity, will spare precious muscle you are also trying to attain.

So If I were to workout in the am, I would walk in the pm, and visa-versa. And on days you don't weight lift, you could walk twice, am and pm.

    Good luck!!!

BTW...low intensitry cardio does not increase metabolic rate...high intensity cardio or weight bearing activity is used to elevate the metabolism.

    I disagree.

Every time you eat your metabolism goes up as your digesting your food.

Any kind of exercise 20 minutes after you eat will kick it up even more. THAT, has been my EXPERIENCE.

Read "The Hilton Head Metabolism Diet".

And the bottom line is it has repeatedly worked for me.

Sorry to disagree but I would suggest reading some "Medical Journals" on the topics of exercise and metabolism...not a "diet" developed by someone interested in gaining profits from selling information.

JUST my 2 cents....and what I have been taught as a certified personal trainer!
