feel bigger when on less sleep..

When I only get 6 hours of sleep, I feel more pumped and bigger than when i sleep 8-9 hours.
    Does this happen to you?

Should I sleep 6 hours every night?

Depends on what I eat before bed, I usually feel much more full when I get more sleep.
Also, I notice that the less sleep I get, the more water I shed while asleep, making the muscles a little more defined, possibly "bigger" in appearance

I think youre delusional from lack of sleep is all. You'll be a Not Big once you get a nap and come to your senses again.

    the most appropriate answer.

Should aim for a an hour or 2 of more sleep really, allthough I'm guilty of usually only being able to pick up 6 on a weekday. I try to grab a few extra hours on a weekend thats not busy; rest is important.

I know if I sleep more then 7 hours my whole day is long and slow. But if I sleep less then 7 hours, I'm energetic and ready to go. I've been that way for years.

Everyone's got an optimal range. Too much and your body feels lazy and tired, too little and your body is unrested and tired. I know some people that feel great on 5 hours. I'm best on 7

Opposite for me. When on less sleep I feel puny, when I get a solid 8+ hours, I feel thick.

Never heard of someone getting a pump from sleep. You sure we aren't talking about morning wood here?

I'm a 6-7 hour sleeper too. 8 or more and I feel tired and sluggish and my workouts and diet start to suffer.
