Most Max Ot routine use a 5 days split.
Is a 3 days split will produce the same result.
Also do Max Ot produce long term gain (months, years)

I have used Max OT and really liked it. It worked really well for me and the gym time is very quick. I did the program exactly as written so I can't comment on the 3 day.
But in general it is the principle behind max-ot that you are using, not the split. Try it and let me know how it goes.
And I don't think you should stay on any program for years, your body will adapt to it too well. You need to change every once in a while.
