    Torn Muscle HELP....

Hey Ive torn my bicep muscle, the belly part. Right in the middle, im wondering if anyone on this forum has had any experience with soft tissue tears like this, barely any info online. So im trying to go by word of mouth and past experiences. Just wondering if you guys could help a brother out. What rehab or supplements to help me out?

If your like me, you will wait until tomorrow and see how bad it really is. If there is large bruises or deep enclave then you should see a Doc like it or not. If you never plan on competing and don't care about looks just keep ice on it and limit use. Then start slow rehab after 6 weeks. Good luck, some of the worst looking tears I have seen will be fine others could be a problem down the road. All hurt about the same though.

Sorry I didnt specify, but I believe I tore it in june, there was no severe bruising, although there is now a "divot" when i get a pump, but if its muscle only tear and not tendon related i should be able to get up to full strength again, correct?

It will take some time but you should be able to get full strength back. I fractured my humerus (upper arm bone) right in half in two pieces and I had surgery where they sliced my muscle to align/repair the damaged bone. It was a frustrating slow recovery but I got my full strength back in the arm after about a year and a half post surgery. Good luck with that.
