Am I building mucles or should I lift more?

I have just started lifting, done allot of research because the last diet I did I didnt do much research and harmed my body, I am 5ft10 140lbs age 18 male, I started lifting 5 days a week and just got my whey just now too... I have been lifting a bit in the past but nothing much, now I am going full blast on the lifting and making sure I follow everything correctly, when I first started my arms used to feel very very sore but now I am lifting heavy 3 sets 8-12 reps and spending 1 hour in the gym 5 days a week doing different body parts and my arms dont feel as bad as they used to, they feel a bit weaker but nothing major like the first few times, should I be geting sore arms all the time or is this only first few time? Should I increase the weight more?

PS I had been having ALLOT of protein (200-250 grams) I am nly 140lbs and I take about 250g carbs on workout days too.
Also nothing to do with this but I have been told I need about 70g fat, I have been having to start drinking stuff like whole milk and having butter to get upto 70g I am also eating 2500-2700 cals a day even on off days should I stuff fat down me to get the 70g or should it be ok at about 50g?

1-you are lifting too much and too often , for your age you should concentrate on proper form and proper technique instead of weight. try to go to the gym 4 times a week.
2- If you want you can lift heavy but you should lift hard every 3 weeks , like every 3 weeks give one week of hard lifting.
3- forget eating extra fat, you can eat some carbs and fruits 1 hour before lifting.

I eat carbs and pro in stuff like lentils for pre workout then 15 mins before I have a banana or some high gl fruit, banana because of potasium, I DONT NEED FATS FOR MUSCLE GAIN!?!?!? I could have been eating like 20g fat but I forced myself to add mayo and butter and olive oils to food...I like nits but they wouldnt go up to like 70g fat...I have been lifting heavy every day I got told work hard gain more, allways lift heavy till faliure, should be about 8-12 reps Im confused, I went to get whey today also and they guy at the till (HUGE GUY) gave me begginer tips, he says 4-5 days heavy lift is good and I should eat loads but only good stuff.

At 140lbs, I wouldn't worry too much about diet right now. Just eat good and often, take your protein, cut your workout program to 4 days, get plenty of sleep...and be patient bro, it'll come.

I do eat LOADS because I know I am close to underweight but I want to know how much I should eat to bulk properly because I dont want to eat loads and still be under the calorie level, I have done this allot and just shoved some butter and nuts down me.

forget the butter don't get bad habits at 18...bodybuilding is also about being healthy....nuts are good they are rich in protein and good fat (good cholesterol). don't force feed yourself again it is a very bad habit, just eat normally add to it protein shakes , and load some carbs and fruits1 hour before the gym remember the hard workout will make you burn around 300 calories so load up with 400 calories (carbs, some protein, and fructose) before the gym and some carbs and a protein shake after the gym.
lifting heavy all the time is also very bad for you,as i said lift heavy if you must every 2-3 weeks, just concentrate on the proper form and technique, gaining muscle will take some time even years. Some people gain quickly and some take time, you are only 18 and bad habits in eating and lifting can be picked up easily at your age. it took me years to go up 20 lbs in muscle and that's how it should be done when you are a beginner.
the rhythm at which you eat and lift must not be excessive, you cannot go for a long time on force feeding yourself and lifting heavy all the time you will hurt your health and yourself...the rhythm of your feeding and lifting must be a healthy lifestyle that you maintain for all your life

At risk of adding to what you might be finding to be information overload at this point, you might want to check out the Starting Strength program:

    Starting Strength

I think you might be a prime candidate for that, especially given your age. It's more about lifting than diet/nutrition though.

Even if you don't end up doing the program, you may find the book Starting Strength (3rd edition released just recently) along with the DVD a great resource generally and with some excellent advice on form for the major lifts (squat, deads, bench, press) and a few others. But there`s some free videos and articles on the site too - check under the Resources tab. The book Practical Programming seems very good too, although tbh I've just started reading it.

Good luck. You have age and motivation on your side, and that's huge.

At 18 no matter the weights you lift you will gain muscle so no need to lift heavy.
but at 18 it is easy to pick up bad lifting habits that is why a teenager should be focusing on proper form and technique rather than weights.

I hear all the time how guys eat tons of foo. This 20 year old asked how i grow and i told him eat alot and he said he did so i asked what do you eat he said he eats a banana or a apple .So when people say they eat a lot they don't know what eat a lot really means for a bodybuilder.

eating a lot is not always the answer to grow unless you want to loose your six packs.
there must be a compromise which is feed your muscles not your stomach. That is eat enough good quality food to supply your muscles with the energy and protein needed with the proper timing. Wolfing down anything you see will make you gain fat you will have the illusion of growing muscles but it is actually fat. Growing muscles is a slow process, growing fat could be quick.
some teens can sometimes get away with some junk they eat because of their high metabolism, like my son he eats anything and if i say anything to him he lifts his shirt to show me who got the six packs! what a jerk
