    Metabolic Training

Stuck in a rut and want to make some changes. Primarily lean out and cut. Anyone have a metabolic workout program to share? I've heard of using reps of 21, 15, and 9 but haven't seen any programs. Would appreciate any information.

I actually had to look this one up. It turns out that a "metabolic workout" is Crossfit but without calling it Crossfit.

Getting lean is done in the kitchen! I feel like a broken record this week....

I agree with you that the kitchen is at the top of the list when it comes to leaning out. I'm eating completely clean and taking in the right calories (count and type). Was just looking to shake things up a bit in my training routine. I'll check out some crossfit info. Thanks.

Diet, and then high intensity training. Resistance training all very intense to get better cardio workout. You're not going to be able to do this and put on a lot of muscular strength though.
Challenge your body with more difficult exercises.
Metabolic workout, I take to mean that you want to increase your metabolic rate, in which case also eat low carb, high protein 4-5 times a day.

Thanks for the reply. Not worried about strength at the moment. From a nutritional perspective I'm eating high protein 6 times a day. Primarily sirloin and salmon with greens at each meal. Dropped about 4% body fat and gained about 4 lbs of muscle over the past month so things are moving in the right direction, just wanted to see what I could do to accelerate my progress.
