    RockTape

    So a few of you that read my journal know that I had tweaked my ankle on a Monday at the beginning of the year. I don't know exactly what I did, but I was feeling a little soreness in my ankle going into my workout that evening. While I was in the gym, it got full blown SORE and I could barely walk on it. Adding weight on that ankle I would just want to explode. I was hobbling around the gym almost to the point of feeling useless to be there, but I'm a stubborn little thing and finished my workout and even did cardio on the bike. haha Bad me, I know.

    So I get home and I was in major pain. Thank goodness for facebook right. I wrote a status on my wall about my ankle and a friend of mines quickly jumped in and said, "Tracy, wrap your ankle in that RockTape I sent you." Ha! What a lifesaver!     What does it do? ROCKTAPE does two things:reduces the pain associated with common sport injuries like shin splints, plantars and runner’s knee and increases endurance by promoting blood flow during an athletic event.

    How does it work? ROCKTAPE stabilizes the area while providing full range of motion, and lifts the skin away from the muscle which relieves pressure on tender nerves. It also promotes blood flow, and more blood flow means faster recovery.

    How long will it last? ROCKTAPE can be worn 3-5 days. It is 100% organic cotton and can beworn while swimming or in the shower.     Vibrant injuries are never fun no matter how big or small.

    RockTape is designed for the athlete. It has the same science behind it as other tapes the way it works by pulling the skin away from the soft tissue in order to increase blood flow to the injured area but also has a 30% more stretch built into the weave to allow more range of motion and 4 times the ammount of adhesive to ensure it lasts on the body during workouts and sport events.     I met those guys at rocktape my last year of racing bicycles at the Cats Hill Criterium. I am glad they are still around. I have had some sucess using tape to get through minor injuries and aches.
