How to find a Coach? Columbus, OH.

My gym is offering Buy10Get10Free on personal training, but I have no faith that their scrawny trainers know any more than I do.

How can I find a GOOD coach in Columbus, Ohio (that I won't need a 2nd mortgage to pay for)?

I use a coach that lives a long ways from me. Sometimes coaches that do everything by internet and email pics will have a tendancy to screw things up.

Internet coaches are good for basic info, but when your competing, there has to be a spot on eye for you. Try those skinny trainers. Don't judge a book by it's cover.. Some of the those trainers are educated-even though they don't look the part!

Found "Dogg House" gym 7 minutes from Columbus downtown. Anyone know if you have to be a monster in order to join that gym? Some of the girls were squatting 400lb!

Even if I'm too puny to join, I wonder if someone there would be willing to oversee me during a few workouts in my gym, to at least critique form etc. That'd help, I'm sure.

dude I agree with this. I am benching 400 and I could see 450 if I had some coaching on technique. I am in Athens, OH. No lifters here.

Sad you're not closer to Cols. The Dogg House Gym sounds like it would be perfect for you. Plus, it sounds like you'd be a great coach for me!
