Natty.
I could probably get about 360 max right now. Benching 2 sets of 335 x3 or 4 right now on a cut. I was up to right at 4 plates and will try to get back there soon.
Any nattys (all the way natural, not just off cycle at the moment) on here that are benching over 350?

Some Oooold Pics. All Natural. More to come soon...Still all natural

Ask me again in a year. My New Year's Resolution for this year is to be able to bench 150 kilos by the end of the year. That's if my shoulders hold up.
I feel you on the shoulders. I never workout on the barbell bench, only max on it about every 6 months. I took some medication for 3 months a couple years ago that dried up my joints, shoulders still haven't recovered from the damage i did to them while lifting with messed up joints.
Gissurjon,
I am no longer all natural, but when I was I was able to get 350lbs. Not really sure the purpose of your thread (were you looking for advice on getting to or past 350?). I am assuming that is your intention.
1) I had to stop drinking-- Being that I am in a college town that was quite a chore.
2) Say your prayers, and take your vitamins. I was eating a lot (weighed about 185lbs), taking multivitamin, creatine, other "natural" (non-AAS) supplements
3) Trained hard.
Training (my advice here is all from memory, so its not 100% accurate but you will get the idea:
Lets say your base bench is 315lbs which is what mine was for a good 5-6 reps. And you want to get 350lbs in 6 weeks.
Week 1: 315lbs - 2-3 sets with that weight (not counting warmups)
Week 2: 335 - 2-3 sets
Week 3: 315 - 5 sets, increase reps
Week 4: 335 - 5 sets, increase reps from week 2
Week 5: 345lbs - 1-2 sets
Week 6: 350lbs - Get that big girl!
Basically what I try to do from one week to the next is Increase my weight, then go back down and increase reps, then increase weight again and keep doing that until I reach my goal.
I also utilize the smith machine. Say you want the 350lbs. After you do the 2-3 sets on flat bench go to the smith machine, put the heavier weight on (350lbs) and do negatives. This will help prepare you.
It isn't a science, may not work for you. But I think it is worth a shot!

totally natural 50 years old bench is not my strongest but right now my weight is 170 lbs (77 kg t0 be exact) and i can bench 275lbs 3 times and 315 (3 plates) once. I used to do around 335 at my best that was 20 years agobut i don't max often in fact i never went above 275 for the past 3 years to avoid injury (i got a bad one few years back) except this year i just did it for fun.
i could bench 350 before i was a jr in high school

in high school i benched 135 lbsbut i could do over 120 real push ups in a row....3 years later i went above 300 lbs but my push ups went down
Natural here...haven't 1RM in a long time but hit 315X4-5 times so I'm guessing I can hit over 350...

good to see such high numbers from us natural folk. I've been getting really discouraged lately when it comes to benching. I was getting 180, which is my bw, while on a test booster, but now that has fallen down to 165.
Just gotta get the numbers out your head. 30-60 reps, less rest, etc.
Also there are many many variations of pushups you can do to help get a nice pump. E.G. 1 set do 10 ultra wide, 10 wide, 10 normal, 10 close grip. Or do 10 plyometric + 30 regular. list goes on and on.
However, nothing beats the feeling of benching big weight for a solid 6 reps heh
My best is 325, but an old training partner of mine hit 390 in a raw powerlifting competition in the 198 weight class.
For those who saw my previous post I was unsure of the numbers so I actually looked them up by googling his name (Colin Haller at a raw meet in Potomac, MD). He weighed somewhere in the 180's though, he just didn't bother cutting weight at all.

Friend of mine did 308 paused bench the other day at 180 bodyweight. Great rep. He did 319 not paused, still touched to the chest. Guy is a beast at benching.
Best i've done is 270 paused at about 195 bodyweight, so some ways to go yet.

300lbs by June is my current goal. And I have sucked at bench for a long time. 350 shouldn't be too hard for a consistent natty to hit.

Kind of sloppy but for clarity
