    Post neck injury?

ok, something really odd has happened... im not if maybe it was bad form, but the right side of my neck is in serious pain when i turn my head, when i breath in, my upper chest and throat hurts (like sorta the pain u get when gas gets around that area), and when i swallow it hurts... my theory is that i might of injured my neck ligaments so the area got swollen, any other ideas? thnx

It could be a number of things. You very easily could have injured it with bad form. You could have caughtin cold in it. Sometimes I sleep the wrong way and my neck stiffins up.Whatever the case may be, a neck injury isn't something to play around with! I would take it easy for at least a week, apply ice or heat packs to your neck, depending if it's swollen or sore, and if necessary go to the doctor. You never want to lift while your neck is injured because you will be more prone to a life threatening injury! Good luck
