Sorry to hear about your brother, he was very young.

Do you have any goals or is it just weight loss?
A diet doesn't necessarily mean eating less, just the right stuff at the right times so I'd recommend posting in the diet section for some good help.

Are you going to a gym or training at home?
    Cool

I go to my local gym, going to do light lifting for the time been with a hard cardio work out at the end a every lifting session on a 3 day split, then on one my of days going do some circuite training.

My goals at the moment are to lose as much body fat,so i start to look a lot more leane, then wen i no longer have my flab build muscle and try to go big/wider.Going take a while i think but be worth it in the end.

I personally don't adjust my routine for Cutting or Bulking, i do a 3 day split as well.
    Monday - Chest/shoulders/Bi's
    Wednesday - Legs/abs
    Friday - Back/tri

For large muscle group like back, chest and legs I'll do around 3 different exercises with 8-10 total sets and for small muscles I'll do 2-3 exercises for 4-6 total sets.
When cutting, I'll do cardio after my workout.
My total time in the gym with cardio goes about 1H 5-10 min max.
    Cool
