haha is this such a retarded question that no one replies

Alright so yesterday was chest day but I literally could not lift the weight I normally lift with my chest I even rested for 30 min came back and tried again and I still couldnt do it. I normally do this weight and have never had any problems with it before since today is back day for me should I workout my chest and back today to make up for yesterday I also train my abs today

haha is this such a retarded question that no one replies
Post a normal weeks workout routine. I'm not sure i grasp what you actually mean bro.

wow i just realized I misspelled teenager.
Monday-legs
tuesday-chest
wednesday-back
thursday-rest
friday-shoulders
saturday-arms
sunday-rest
so what I am saying is after working out my arms on saturday I was extremely sore throughout the week and by the time I did chest workouts on tuesday I couldnt do my normal weight that I usually lift on the chest press machine. So I wanted to know if I should try to work on my chest again sometime this week since I couldnt really do it on tuesday (maybe because of how sore I was). I also workout my abs every other day.
Listen bro, we all have off/bad days from time to time. 9 months ago I switched gyms and at my old gym I could get 315 on the bench for 8-10 reps. I go to the new gym and only got 5. Now, the next week after that, doing chest, I was back to 8-10 reps. We all have our ups and downs. I say chalk it up to a bad day and move on. If it continues next week or even into the week after I think then would be cause for concern.

but should I do the chest workout on my rest day now this week because I couldnt do them at all on tuesday

no, move on. you needed more time for recovery if your arms were still sore on Tuesday.

don't mess up your rotation, the rest of your body is just as important as your chest. Check your diet, protein intake, and ect. There are so many factors going into pressing weight.

I have seen a lot of advanced and experienced lifters (years of lifting experience and progress) training each body part 1x per week - but rarely teenagers? also, for the 1x per week crowd, typically they don't train legs-chest-back back to back... but, we all do things differently...

I do this..
mon-chest
tues-legs
weds-off
thurs back
fri-shoulders
sat-arms
