i jus want to be the hardest working/strongest mofo in whatever gym i'm at

So, what is your motivation at the gym? What motivates you day in, and day out, to go hard in the gym? What goes through your mind when you're in pain, ready to quit, but decide to crank out two last repetitions?
I'll tell you what mine is. I want to be the biggest, strongest mf possible. Call me crazy, but you know when you're pump is getting insane and it is actually a little painful? I love that shit. Since I usually go to the gym at night, all the stress I've had built up throughout the day gets released at the gym. I work out for the health benefits, but mostly to look good. Not even gonna lie. Anyways, I'm just curious as to what motivates and drives you to put yourself through hell day in and day out.

Yeap I hear that one I'm the same way. Sometimes watching someone go hard in the gym makes me want to go even harder. I guess I'm very competitive. Then there's those fucks who just take up space, talk, and do 1 set every 10 minutes

I want to be as big and strong as possible... whatever it takes.

oh I hear you. I was always the tall skinny kid my whole life up until like 2 years ago when I started taking my training super serious. Those looks tho man, they feel good don't they? I love when those lames at the gym just hate on me cuz I'm a younger cat embarrassing their weak ass workouts.
I've seen the same guy in my gym for the last year. He doesn't look like he's put on any size at all and in that same year I've put on a ton of clean mass

been in the gym for more than 35 years, had some times where i am not that motivated but never quit, and some other times, i am very motivated, the last 2 years i was motivated as much as i was in my 20's which is good because i am as strong at 51 as ever.
in the gym i just focus on each set to make it the best , sometimes younger guys give me some motivation. but i never compare myself to anybody , i am satisfied with my own progress.

Obliques, abs and intercostals nothing excites me more then when they start to pop
For my wife. Also my kids look up to me no matter what but when I flex my guns to them and their friends they get a kick out of it. But most of all to be and look healthier.
This new pre work out I bought has been helping too......LOL
I always thought my head was a little too big for my body so I wanted to even it out. Then later I realized it has serious health benefits...but fu** that, my head is still too big.
