    Dumbell Flys(bouncing)

Yesterday while at my gym,i seen a friend of mine doing flat Flys as he reached the bottom of the fly he moved them up and down slowely about 8cm each time(like a bouncing action),is this a safe methord of training?Or even a good exercise to me it looks prone to a pull. This guy swears by them.

That`s just improper form and bad training advice.Stick to your guns and train correctly. You`ll benefit way more than he does.Good luck!

If he's doing it slowly in a controlled fashion it sounds more like a partial rep, which is okay.

However, bouncing would not be okay, that is risking injury.
