    Running on off days

Will it decrease my gains any?
Currently im trying to build mass and lifting/eating according to it [as well as taking creatine + glutamine].

Would running 2 miles on my off days hurt my muscular gains much?

Running for 2 miles is catabolic (I do not care how much you eat), if your goal is to gain size and strength it's the last thing you should be doing.

Not true at all running for 2 miles is between 12-16 minutes of good cardio hardly catabolic

I still disagree, only if it's done in intervals, e.g. HIIT.

It sounds like he is talking more along the lines of a 2 mile "jog".

well either way a jog is at most 20 minutes, still don't think that's going to have any catabolic effect esp if he eats right after the run
