I think for me, I'm more addicted than motivated
Going to the gym and throwing weight around is like a high for me and I do it daily without thinking otherwise.

Strong motivations include: having and keeping my wife (who is hot!), feeling good when I look in the mirror (ego), and also the thought of losing 20 years worth of progress - but the truth is, I simply love to train.
It always feels good to handle heavy weights... almost addictive.
It is harder to stay out of the gym than it is to go.

Yeah I agree. I have been at it for a while now and lost my drive the last few months of last year. I have recent motivation from my girlfriend of all people . She decided she wanted to start working out get in the good shape for the spring and summer. She surprise the shit out me with her to dedication to meal plans and training . Thats has allowed me to step up my game . My old pics when I was superrrr skinny, not by choice, but really high metabolism and non-stop sports! Now ive slowed down some and put on some muscle and love the way I feel and look, that keeps me motivated!

what keeps me motivated is that guy or trainer who you know hates you even though they've never spoken to you...who just knows you're on something...even though you're not, and never have been, but they have, and are, but they're not 100% sure, but they feel that you just gotta be, or you think you're bad, or that you have a chip on your shoulder, just because you bust ass and go hard and don't waste time, and you look better than they do...and more symmetrical, even though you could really care less and you eat three cheat meals a week.

Being one of the only chicks at my gym to lift and lift heavy. Who can out lift many of the men at my gym. My up coming competitions pushes me and I strive to reach my goals and lift heavier every time I hit the gym.
