Does anyone take off for a week sometimes. I did for the first time to let a shoulder heal. I have felt like a total waste all week not doing nothing.

I take off a week every 5 to 6 weeks. It gives my muscles a good chance to fully recover and I'm usually better for it when I come back. But usually a week is my limit, if I have to take off more time then I too get really jumpy lol! Usually I can prepare for this time off by turning up the intensity of my previous workouts and then my body is yelling for a break.

Yep, I am taking next week off even though it's tough to stay out of the gym. I got to get a life! It has been 3 months since I took a break and my joints are crying out for me to.

I take at least one week off at least every 6 to 8 weeks.
