BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com While doing my arm routine I have been experiencing a dull, ache(not a muscle burn type pain) in my forearms during my preacher curls. I get a really good burn from the W/O but don't want to damage anything or put too much stress on my ulnas. Has anyone else experienced this.
My W/O partner thinks it may be from the bar I am using, I prefer the free weight EZ curl bar to the preset bars as I can more easily hit my failure point at 9-10 on my 3rd set. The free weight bar does seem to have a slightly wider grip than the preset bars. Any help would be most appreciated. |

I would stop doing preachers for awhile. Personally I rarely do them, I prefer standing barbell curls.

I would stop doing preacher curls also. I rarley do them becuase of running the risk of impingment in my acromian process due to the fact that the biceps brachii run up and cross the shoulder. Preacher put your shoulder in a fixed/locked postition which can irritate this. An alternative would be cable curls with your arms slightly out in front of you.

OK, will do. This might also explain the constant neck pain i experience the next couple of days after my arm routine. couldn't hardly get out of bed this morning, so doc says to lay off for a couple of weeks.
Will PM you with results tank, but going to take it esy for a few weeks. Had to have my kids help me out of bed this morning. So I went in to see my doc. It's now official, no upperbody for 2 weeks. Guess this will be a good time to do some extra cardio and cut down a little. |
