Squats after back surgery
I am having back surgery in 1 week for herniated disks. Squats have always been a mainstay in my routine. Is it wise to continue doing squats once i recover. Or should I switch to Leverage squat machine and leg presses. My surgeon says I can start lifting three months after surgery. It doesn't look like he ever lifted a weight in his life so I do not think he understands what a good leg workout involves. Any suggestions or cautions, Thanks

I wouldn't think it would be a good idea! But I would have a talk with your orthopedic doc!
