mass workout type
Just a intro here:
I was writing a new workout, and I got my friends Dad to look it over (he used to own a gym and trained competitors), and he said it wasn't bad, but the wrong workout for what I want to achieve. Basically I had chosen 2-3 muscle groups for each day on the split, the workout went somethign like this: group 1 group2 group1 group2 I thought it would be good to have a bit of a rest for each muscle group in question, but he said that it was good, but not for building mass. Any comments?

Need more specifics than that. HST trains the whole body 3x a week, but you are doing a greatly reduced number of sets.
In essence, you take your one week routine and divide by 3. http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/sh...HST+yay+or+nay (HST - yay or nay?) Example routine is towards the bottom of page one, theory etc is covered in the earlier posts.

i was wondering towards if it is better to go say do 3 sets of chest, then 2 sets of bis; or something like: chest, bi, chest, bi, chest. Is the separation beneficial, or would i be better without it?
