I love running as well but have cut it back as of late as I'm doing a lot more "running" around with this new job so I don't feel as guilty missing a day here and there.![]()
So, I have not done much cardio in about a year. I used to run like 3 miles every morning and weighed a meager 150lbs. Now I'm somewhere between 185 and 190 and I really don't wanna start any cardio cuz I hate it frankly. However, I know I need to get a jolt in now and then to keep the blood moving and get some good breathing and heart rate up. So, the other morning before breakfast I ran around the block. Not far, but I just wanted to get that running feeling. I could have gone farther, though I'm not sure how much. It sucks to start running again, but hten, by the same token, it rules. The whole day seemed brighter and crisp. I figure, in time I will start jogging about 3 times a week for like 20 minutes, just to get that good feeling. It's also helping cuz I am trying to cut right now. But, after I end this cut, I'll still run a bit b/c I know it's good for the body overall.
Also, UCF has IM Sports year round and flag-football will be starting in the fall. I may do that with some friends, which will be great cardio!
Just thought I'd share that with y'all!![]()

Yeah, I don't plan on doing the 3 miles a morning thing as I am trying to gain overall strength and mass. But, it just feels good to have a quick jog now and then. I have to try to not get addicted to it like I once was. I don't want to forget to stop!![]()
