Advice ..pulled groin

I was doing some sprints when I was playing with my dog when suddenly I felt a sharppain in my groin...

I pulled my groin and it hurt..
How long till I can start my running or leg workout? What could I do to speed up the healing?

Rest, rest, and more rest. I've pulled my groin before, and it SUCKS. I wouldn't plan on running for at least a couple of weeks. If you don't let it heal 100%, it will very easily pull again.

I played organized hockey for ten years and the only games I missed were due to a groin pull.

I have never tried to do a leg workout with a pulled groin, but I imagine it would be unbearably painful. I certainly would not recommend trying it to find out.

They'll ease the pain, but nothing besides REST will help it heal faster.

I have to be honest when I say, I hope it ever heals at all. I severly pulled mine about 2 years ago playing football and to this day it is not the same. I feel it whenever I go heavy on legs.

Rest it out as long as you can stand it. Ice it, massage it, and slowly start stretching it. Be very smart and patient.

Good luck.
