deadlifts

can someone clarify the proper way to perform rack deadlifts? is this like a sldl where the lower body is not moving and the bb is lowered to below the knees or is it like a bb deadlift where you bend at the knees but not go down as far? thanks.

The BB is at or just below knee level. Deadlift as you normally would...just don't go down as far.

You still want to bend the knees and lean over, but since you will be pulling anywhere from the knees to mid shin level, it will not be as exaggerated as the traditional deadlift.
