    Unhappy body fat

my body fat is about 10 % now. i just had it checked. i know that cardio and dieting is important but, what about exercising that muscle. take the bicep for example. i have a little bit of fat on there and if i do bicep exercises then i will just build muscle underneath. should i do a lot more reps and still do that exercise along with cardio??

I know I'm going to take some flack for this, but there is no such thing as spot reduction. Only diet and cardio will work. Increase your calorie deficit by increasing cardio length or intensity. If that doesn't work, reduce your calorie intake by a small amount. Try to cut out refined simple carbs too!

running is an excellent fat burner, but it's reducing on the whole body. If you want to look like a runner, train like one. If not, do it in moderation. Try upright bike or elliptical trainer. Are you doing any cardio now?

Not sure why you want to get under 10%, but diet is the key, not how many reps you do.

Now if you want to do a "cardio" type lifting routine you may not build as much muscle, but you can reduce your rest periods to about 30 seconds, or consider circuit training.
